This is an old photo of the HK Club working out with me.
Normally I can sleep just about anywhere just about anytime - but I am putting my hand and up and saying the time swing from Atlanta, Georgia to Hong Kong is officially too much. I have been on the ground in this great world capital for three days now and gotten about four hours sleep.
Great trip in Atlanta - and looks like the ScrumMaster name will be seen on high school fields around the USA in the coming months.
I always love Hong Kong - despite the sleep challenges. I have had a chance to service the equipment - a bit more to do - but also to hold a great skills clinic with the iconic Hong Kong Football club. This massive facility should be the envy of most clubs around the world - a big patch of one mile oval - with canyons of apartment buildings all around it - making it a real interesting vibe at night under the lights.
There is a great rugby culture in Hong Kong - with this club in constant operation since the 1800s - making them the target team for the rest of the Hong Kong league. They were in first place - but an ineligible player saw them get stripped of some valuable points - so they are back in the trenches getting back on top prior to the playoffs in March.
Next stop for me is the USA Sevens in Las Vegas - so if you are heading down keep an eye out for my gear as the Canadian women's team uses it during the week!
If you have any sales inquiries pop them through - always able to handle some more business!
Later,
Kevin.
